The House Of Batiatus invites you to join in the epic storyline of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, the prequel to Starz’s wildly successful original series, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. and company was ready for the challenge as we delivered a highly customizable site and Facebook App that rendered even the most feeble & wretched among us, strong & sublime.

The premise was simple: “Spartacize” yourself into a Gladiator or Goddess. You pick a body, adjust your features, adorn yourself with weapons, armor and jewels, place yourself in the perfect setting, pick the perfect Spartacus quote, and then tell all your friends so they can drool over your perfect abs or regal bosom.
Upon bringing this robust experience to life, the Spartacus fan-base went to work, creating thousands and thousands of original Spartacus-inspired personalities. But what truly made the experience sing was its viral-nature as we enabled and encouraged users to post their creations to their Facebook profiles and in their status streams. The result was over 10 million of page views... a number that brought even Spartacus himself to his knees with joy.
